HERO and Octane have teamed up to offer you the chance to win a place for a team of two in any car built before 31 December 1981 on HERO's Scottish Malts Classic Reliability Trial, which takes place 29 March to 4 April. The event, geared to beginners and experts alike, takes the form of a series of driving tests on private land, regularities on stunning roads and link sections through some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery. It is based at the famous Turnberry Resort, close to the airfield at which several Grand Prix drivers raced in 1952 (more details on the HERO website), with main controls and tests based at stately homes, castles and distilleries. There is also a less demanding Classic Car Tour, which can be chosen instead of the Reliability Trial.

If you don't have a suitable car, HERO runs an Arrive and Drive classic car hire service. The price of car hire is not included in the competition prize.
